Plagiarism Policy

ENGZINE, the literary e-magazine of the Department of English, upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. All submissions must be the original work of the authors and free from any form of plagiarism. The following policy governs all contributions:

Originality: Submissions must be original and unpublished. Any work found to have significant similarities with previously published content will be rejected.

Proper Citation: If external references or quotes are used, proper citation in the appropriate format is mandatory.

Screening: All submissions will be screened through plagiarism detection software. The acceptable similarity index must not exceed 15%, excluding references and commonly used phrases.


Consequences of Plagiarism:

Submissions found to be plagiarized will be immediately disqualified.

Authors of plagiarized content may face a ban on future submissions.

Severe cases may be reported to the college authorities for further action.


Declaration of Authenticity:

Authors must submit a signed declaration affirming the originality of their work.
