Biography

Dr. J. John Love Joy is an Assistant Professor of English at St. Joseph's College (SJC), Trichy. He has an M.A. in English Language and Literature from Loyola College, Chennai; PGDTE and M.Phil. in English Language Teaching from English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad; and Ph.D. in English Language Testing from Madras University, Chennai. In a career spanning over 18 years, he worked as a lecturer in Loyola College, Chennai, served as an Additional Dean of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC, SJC) and Expert Member of Board of Studies for different colleges in Tamil Nadu. On the publishing side, he has co-authored six books on English Language Teaching, co-edited two books on soft skills and conducted over 250 Faculty Development Programmes for school and college teachers. Five of his books are used as textbooks for undergraduate and postgraduate students in various colleges. He has also published research articles in SpringerOpen and Modern English Teacher.
