The Department of English at St. Joseph's College, Shift II, was established to meet the rising demand for expertise in English language and literature. With the launch of the B.A. English program in 2007, followed by the M.A. English program in 2011, the department has steadily expanded, becoming a cornerstone for literary and linguistic studies within the college. Over the years, the department has developed into one of the largest departments in the management section, now home to over 400 students and a dedicated team of 18 Assistant Professors.
