JITE was launched on 19-03-2021 on occasion of celebrating the feast of St. Joseph’s, our patron saint. The Society of St. Joseph’s college has formally signed MOU with Tally Education Private Ltd., Bangalore as an official centre (TAC-Training and Assessment Centre) for offering Training and Certification in TallyPrime. TallyPrime is the latest version replacing earlier version of Tally ERP-9 accounting software.

St. Joseph’s college seeks to provide domain specific knowledge, employability, life skills, physical, emotional and social intelligence, paving the way for 360 Degree of growth of the student community. As an extension of this concept, JITE envisages and offers a blend of Curriculum and 'beyond curriculum' efforts to realise the goals of Higher Education.

In tune with the NEP-2020, JITE strives to improve “Employability and Marketability’ of graduating students. The benefit of the certification is that it is the industry preferred certificate with multiple career opportunities with career progression and management. We have a dedicated lab facility with 190 computers and experts with 20+ years of teaching experience in Tally. We have installed licensed TallyPrime software costing around Rs.65,000 using which students are provided hands on training in using TallyPrime software. Tally has been a part of the curriculum for 20 years. During the Covid-19 times, training is provided online and the final exams can be taken either online or offline in a proctored mode.

Certification

There are three levels of Certification by Tally Education Ltd., A desiring student can either opt for certification as a whole or individual level certification.

• Tally Essential - Computerized Accounting with Tally Level 1

• Tally Essential - Computerized Accounting with Tally Level 2

• Tally Essential - Computerized Accounting with Tally Level 3

• Tally Essential (all the three levels)

SJC provides Dual certificate : 1. Issued by St. Joseph’s College and 2.Tally Education Ltd.

Types of Programme

CampusTally

Students take the course at St. Joseph’s College, attend practical in our lab and take up proctored exam at our lab remotely supervised by Tally Education Ltd., This is suitable and most preferred mode for St. Joseph’s and students of nearby colleges, and general public in and around Trichy.

OffCampusTally

This is meant for students of other colleges, situated away from Trichy. We come to your campus during weekends and holidays, teach, train and facilitate certification process using the computer labs available in your college.

TeleTally

This is most suitable for those who have computer (with latest 64 bit OS and TallyPrime installed) at home. This is a kind of online training of Tally. Classes would be conducted virtually and learners would take the test from their home online.
