Salient Features of JCICT
Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) Protection

Our campus network is protected by enterprise-grade SonicWall Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) featuring Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Gateway Anti-Virus & Anti-Spyware, Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) Sandboxing, Botnet Filtering, DNS Security, Application Intelligence & Control, SSL/TLS Inspection, Content Filtering, Geo-IP Filtering, DoS/DDoS Protection, Identity-Based Access Control, SSL/IPSec VPN, Secure SD-WAN, and comprehensive real-time logging and threat monitoring. To ensure maximum availability and campus continuity, we utilize multiple redundant ISP connections with WAN Failover and Load Balancing, providing seamless Internet connectivity, automatic failover, intelligent traffic distribution, and resilient network performance.

DMZ Security

Critical Internet-facing servers are deployed within a dedicated DMZ, protected by SonicWall NGFW security policies, NAT, Access Control Lists (ACLs), intrusion prevention, and least-privilege network segmentation

Enterprise Layer 3 & Layer 2 Switching

Secure campus-wide connectivity with network segmentation (VLANs), inter-VLAN routing, least-privilege access using ACLs, and loop prevention through ELRP and RSTP to ensure a resilient and secure network infrastructure.

Enterprise Campus Wi-Fi

Secure, high-performance wireless connectivity powered by enterprise-grade access points with WPA3 encryption, captive portal authentication, network segmentation, centralized management, and continuous performance monitoring to ensure reliable and secure access across the campus.

Enterprise Web Application Firewall (WAF)

Protecting our web applications with Bot Mitigation, API Security, OWASP Top 10 protection, intelligent threat detection, and continuous monitoring to defend against modern web-based attacks.

Endpoint Security

All endpoints are secured using Endpoint Security with Next-Generation Anti-Malware, EDR, Anti-Ransomware, Behavioural Detection, Exploit Prevention, Device & Application Control, Web Protection, Vulnerability Assessment, and centralized policy enforcement. Our endpoint protection strategy follows Zero Trust principles, the Principle of Least Privilege, Security Hardening, Continuous Monitoring, and industry best practices to ensure comprehensive protection against evolving cyber threats.
